As a society, we find ourselves once again staring down yet another daunting year of anxiety and turmoil. For me, in three simple words, “Too Damn Much” encapsulates it all. It’s so intense for so many that there’s only one answer: love. It always has been, it always will be, and it still is. Not a cliche, but a truism so self-evident that it’s almost too obvious to mention. However, it’s important to be reminded of it constantly.

The lyrics of Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes” are a masterpiece capturing the human condition and our aspirations in an honest and beautiful way. The accompanying video performance of the song is equally breathtaking.
