This week has been an exercise in resisting the urge to use Picasso’s quote—if he even actually said it—as an excuse to avoid being blown off course from writing a good story for you all. I failed. All I could think of was the iron lady in this week’s photograph; for me, she epitomizes the slogan “No Excuses.”
